In this role as a Client Operations Representative, you’ll drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional client service, leveraging your expertise in securities, settlements, payments, and collateral optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with external clients to resolve complex day-to-day issues, directing them to the right resources
- Support clients in addressing operational and technical challenges, ensuring timely execution of requests
- Apply advanced problem-solving skills to analyze information and provide high-quality service to a specialized client base
- Provide clients with insights into BNY’s products and services across geographies, using deep knowledge of our extended offerings
- Handle client queries via phone and email regarding:
- Securities settlements
- Payments processing
- Collateral optimization
- Escalate non-routine or complex issues to senior levels
- Maintain client relationships and conduct service call reviews to improve efficiency and cooperation
- Understand and communicate credit exposure and failing transactions effectively
- Develop and maintain internal procedures for smoother operations
- Perform client-facing and internal analyses to support decision-making
- Ensure optimal client activity and account setups, collaborating with teams to refine future offerings
- Enhance client performance by updating/KRI/KPIs, providing insights into improvements
- Occasional weekend work may be required to meet operational demands

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualifications via experience)
- Significant work experience preferred, ideally in operational roles or client services
- Competency with AI and digital tools (light programming knowledge beneficial)
- Ability to identify innovative solutions and leverage technology for growth
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing prioritisation and continuous learning
- No direct leadership responsibilities for people
