Job Overview

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust consultation, education and liaison to adults with moderate to severe eating disorders, members of the multidisciplinary team and associated services. The post holder will be a member of the multi-disciplinary adult eating disorders team, participating in the provision of on-going assessments, care planning and treatment of adults with eating disorders across both our outpatient and daycare settings.

  • To provide compassionate and effective leadership to the Dietitians within the service/locality/sector.
  • To contribute to the overall leadership of the service/locality/sector.
  • To provide high quality and evidence based dietetic assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access services and their carers/supporters/family members
  • To communicate effectively with a range of clinicians in the multidisciplinary team, managers, directors, associate directors, catering, people who access services, carers/supporter/family members, stakeholders and external agencies.
  • To provide supervision and mentoring to dietitians within the trust as required.
  • To ensure the delivery of dietetic student placements.
  • To lead on service development and audits.
  • To actively contribute to the continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities within the specialist team and wider dietetic service
  • To provide an audit of dietetic services within the directorate.
  • To link in with local, regional, and national dietetic networks
