If you’re looking for career progression in a supportive department which emphasises clinical supervision and peer support, as well as learning and development across the Four Pillars of Practice, this may be the post for you!

You will be joining the growing team of over 30 Dietitians within our Trust, as a Dietitian based at York Hospital. This would be for a candidate that is looking to progress their clinical and leadership skills within stroke and neurology dietetics, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

You will be proactive, organised and looking to gain more experience and knowledge in stroke and neurology dietetics for both inpatients, and outpatient clinics, including patients on home enteral feeding. You will be supporting patients with conditions including motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, complex Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, functional neurological disorder, brain injury and different types of strokes requiring oral nutrition support and/or enteral feeding. You will also have the opportunity to see patients through from their acute inpatient stay to the outpatient setting to ensure that continuity of care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
