Empower Young Minds: Specialist Education & Care Assistant - Saltash
Are you passionate about helping children and young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals? We are currently seeking a caring and motivated Specialist Education & Care Assistant to join a dedicated team in Saltash, providing vital support to students with a range of special educational needs and additional learning requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where no two days are the same. You will play an important role in supporting students both academically and personally, helping them build confidence, develop independence, and engage positively with their education.

Your Responsibilities
- Assisting with classroom activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Encouraging positive behaviour
- Helping students develop essential communication and social skills
- Contributing to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students feel valued and supported
Ideal Candidate
- Patient, resilient, and enthusiastic
- Genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
- Previous experience within education, care, support work, or youth services is beneficial but not essential
