Endodontist or Dentist with Special Interest (DWSI) – NHS Specialist Role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Endodontist or Dentist with Special Interest (DWSI) in Endodontics (Level 2 or 3 Accredited) to provide NHS specialist care at modern dental practices in Windsor and Reading.
Role Overview
- Manage Level 2/3 complex root canal cases referred from general dentists.
- Work in fully digital, state-of-the-art facilities with advanced equipment.
- Start with one day/week per site, with potential to increase sessions based on demand.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level endodontic care, including non-surgical re-treatments.
- Assess and triage referrals, communicate with general dentists, and manage cases to NHS standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and obtain informed consent.
- Refer complex cases to specialists or hospitals as required.
Person Specification
- NHS Level 2 Accreditation (support available if needed).
- BDS or equivalent degree, GDC registration, and NHS Performer Number.
- Proven experience in managing complex endodontic cases.
- Desirable: MSc or Diploma in Endodontics, NHS referral experience.
