Job Title: Specialist Family Support Worker

Salary: £31,537 - £33,699 per annum (37hrs) £15,769 - £16,850 per annum (18.5hrs)

Hours per Week: 1 x 37 hours, 1 x 18.5 hours

Location: Wildwood

Team: Specialist Family Support

Permanent

This is a unique opportunity to join our well-established Specialist Family Support Service within the child protection and safeguarding directorate. We are seeking highly motivated and organised candidates that are passionate about supporting vulnerable families to achieve their full potential. Working alongside social workers, you will provide support and advice to families where children are on child protection plans, helping them achieve positive and long-lasting change. You will have excellent communication skills and a sound knowledge of child development. Prior experience in domestic abuse, substance use and emotional/mental health work is desirable. You will manage your own caseload and receive regular supervision and training to develop your knowledge and skills.
