Job Description

The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the effective provision of Perinatal Mental and Infant Mental Health Services to an identified caseload of women. The core purpose of the team in which the post-holder will work, is to deliver high quality, tailored assessment and interventions in maternal mental health and attachment based approaches to mothers and infants. The service will have a key role in raising the profile and standards of mental health care for expectant and newly delivered mothers across universal and specialist services.

We are a supportive service who offer training in perinatal mental health and a robust supervision model.

Responsibilities

  • Specialist Assessment and Interventions: For the attachment and bonding of mother-infant relationship.
  • Promote Parent-Infant Relationship: Both within the team and externally with partner agencies ensuring the voice of the baby is central to care.
  • Specialist Advice and Support: To the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Line Management and Supervision: Responsibilities.
  • Training: Provide training both internally and externally.
  • Service Development and Data Management:
  • Core Team Member: To deliver assessment of general mental health need and be on a duty rota for the service.

About the Role

This post is to caseload hold in the Cheshire East patch of our service. However, our team covers the whole of the trust footprint and therefore a willingness and ability to travel is essential.

This role will involve remote working/hybrid working, however there will be a requirement to work from the office on certain days.

This post is part time 18.75 hours per week.
