Specialist Learning Disability Dietitian
Position: Dietitian (Specialist Learning Disability Service)
About the Role
Join Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) as a dedicated Dietitian in our supportive Specialist Learning Disability Service covering West Hertfordshire. This role offers flexibility, including options to work from home, with a requirement for reliable automotive access.
You will act as an autonomous, influential, and integral member of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with a variety of clinical needs, such as:
- Dysphagia
- Nutrition support
- Disordered eating

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be a Registered Dietitian.
- Strong communication and IT skills required.
- Familiarity with behaviour change models and motivational interviewing would be advantageous.
- Experience or scope to grow experience working with those with a learning disability is preferred but not essential. Newcomers will receive support through regular supervision from our Lead Dietitian and access to training.
