About the Role
Are you keen to shape and deliver dietetic programs to meet the nutritional needs of adults with eating disorders? If so, we are selecting a keen, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Dietitian to join our new Adult Eating Disorders Intensive Treatment (A-EDIT) service.
The A-EDIT is a regionwide service offering treatment as an alternative to Specialist Eating Disorder (SEDU) inpatient admission for adults assessed by East of England Community Eating Disorders Services (CEDS) with a severe eating disorder eligible for SEDU admission.
This critical role involves:
- Working both collaboratively and independently within our multi-disciplinary team (MDT)
- Focusing on developing and improving clinical care
- Providing expert dietetic advice and support to:
- Service users
- Their families/carers
- The multidisciplinary team
- Other healthcare professionals

Key Responsibilities
The Dietitian will:
- Conduct assessments and collaborate in the creation of meal plans for service users, supporting weight restoration
- Set and review weekly nutritional goals to improve overall health and recovery
- Provide guidance to staff delivering meal support and nutrition-based interventions, working closely with nurse practitioners and team leads to ensure nutrition-related risks are managed safely
- Plan and deliver education to staff on improving nutrition practices for those with an eating disorder
- Collaborate with colleagues to:
- Ensure service specifications are executed effectively
- Contribute to and participate in service evaluation case reviews
