Specialist Dietitian – A-EDIT Team

Previous applicants need not apply.

Are you a passionate Dietitian? Looking for a specialist career pathway?

About the Role

Are you keen to shape and deliver dietetic programs to meet the nutritional needs of adults with eating disorders? If so, we are selecting a keen, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Dietitian to join our new Adult Eating Disorders Intensive Treatment (A-EDIT) service.

The A-EDIT is a regionwide service offering treatment as an alternative to Specialist Eating Disorder (SEDU) inpatient admission for adults assessed by East of England Community Eating Disorders Services (CEDS) with a severe eating disorder eligible for SEDU admission.

This critical role involves:

  • Working both collaboratively and independently within our multi-disciplinary team (MDT)
  • Focusing on developing and improving clinical care
  • Providing expert dietetic advice and support to:
    • Service users
    • Their families/carers
    • The multidisciplinary team
    • Other healthcare professionals

Are you looking for a challenging, dynamic role? Do you have an interest or passion for eating disorders, enjoy variety in your work, and want to contribute to improving outcomes for patients? Then this opportunity is for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
