Contract Type: Hybrid (Face-to-Face assessments at clinic + admin from home) Salary: £30,000 – £56,000 (DOE) Locations: Newcastle, Huddersfield, Exeter, Norwich & Harrogate
Service Care Solutions are seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join their dedicated team supporting a top independent provider of autism and ADHD assessments nationwide.
This dynamic service offers high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people, and adults—serving both NHS and private pathways. Responsibilities
- Lead structured face-to-face neurodevelopmental assessments
- Conduct remote developmental history interviews (Zoom) with parents/carers
- Participate in collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) diagnostic discussions (senior support available)
- Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to assessment recipients
- Generate precise diagnostic reports using advanced writing tools
- Adhere to service KPIs via effective caseload prioritisation
- Offer clinical supervision (where applicable)
- Travel to assigned clinic base for in-person sessions (hybrid model)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s registration with HCPC (e.g., Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech/Language Therapist) OR NMC registration (Mental Health/Children’s/Learning Disability Nurse) OR Social Work England registration
- At least 1 year’s experience in cytopathogenome supervision (CYP) autism/ADHD assessments
- Demonstrated knowledge of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
- Expertise in DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
- Experience employing tools like ADOS-2, ADI-R, or equal alternatives
- Ability to work in the UK
