Salary: Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Ridgeway Hospital in Swindon is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Specialist Nurse - Breast Care to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties Of This Role Include

Act as a clinical expert in cancer pathways, supporting diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and survivorship care. Undertake specialist assessments, contributing to holistic care planning, symptom management and ongoing review. Provide emotional, psychological and practical support to patients and carers throughout the cancer journey. Work closely with Consultants, MDT members, allied health professionals and support services to deliver coordinated care. Ensure practice is compliant with national guidance, professional standards and Circle Health Group policies. Keep up to date with advances in oncology practice, maintaining professional knowledge and skills.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration. Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area. Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field. Experience working as a Specialist Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or equivalent. SACT qualification or experience supporting systemic anti-cancer therapy services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Postgraduate qualification or recognised specialist training in the relevant clinical area. Non-medical prescribing qualification (if applicable to role). Experience in audit, service improvement, or clinical leadership. Teaching or mentorship qualification.
