12 month FTC (37.5 hours per week)

£2,500 Joining Bonus Available

Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for a passionate and experienced Chemotherapy Specialist Nurse to join our growing Cancer Services team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped environment where patient care, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement are genuinely prioritised.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients throughout their cancer journey—supporting them when it matters most.

Your Role:

As a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

  • Act as a key worker, supporting patients through complex cancer pathways
  • Deliver safe, high-quality chemotherapy (SACT) and holistic patient care
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate care across a dynamic and varied caseload
  • Communicate sensitive information with professionalism and empathy
  • Support and drive service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Promote best practice in infection control, safety, and patient wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

You’ll be a confident and compassionate nurse who thrives in a specialist setting:

  • Registered Nurse with relevant oncology experience
  • Qualified in SACT administration (accredited)
  • Competent in venepuncture, cannulation, and CVAD management
  • Experience managing complex cancer patient caseloads
  • Comfortable working independently within a nurse-led environment
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Committed to continuous professional development
