Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist with a passion for Neuro Rehabilitation and a forward-thinking approach to patient care? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Community Based Neuro Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge (Stroke) Team, working across East Berkshire.
This role offers a flexible 22.5 hrs working week in which you will support patients in their own homes, helping them to achieve meaningful goals.
- You'll work within a supportive multidisciplinary team alongside Band 7 Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Neuro Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists and Stroke Nurses, delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation.
- You'll also join a wider network of Neuro Specialist Occupational Therapists, with access to excellent training, peer support and opportunities to contribute to service development.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with experience in Neurorehabilitation, strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous learning. You'll confidently manage your own caseload, work independently and deliver outstanding care.
Applicants must hold a recognised Occupational Therapist qualification, be HCPC registered, and have a full UK driving licence with daily access to a vehicle, as travel between patients' homes is essential and not all locations are accessible by public transport.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
