Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Bury Integrated Pain Service, a multi-disciplinary pain service. You will work alongside and be supported by advanced physiotherapy practitioners. You will also receive additional training and support from the multi-disciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, pain consultants, Mental Health Advanced Practitioners, and liaison psychiatrists. The role will involve the management of patients on an individual basis and delivering multi-disciplinary pain management programmes at locations across Bury.

Requirements

The successful applicant will be either an experienced band 6 or existing band 7 who are looking to progress their careers and specialise in this area. They will have extensive experience and evidence of skills and training required for a band 7 pain post. They will be able to demonstrate evidence of excellent bio-psychosocial assessment skills and the outstanding communication skills required to successfully deliver pain management interventions. A band 6 to 7 training role would be considered if the applicant lacks the required experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
