Specialist Pharmacist - Rotational

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist with a passion for delivering best-in-class patient care to join our rotational specialist pharmacy team. Successful candidates will work across key specialties including intensive care, cancer services, respiratory medicine, and elderly care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services in assigned specialties, including Medicines Reconciliation on admission, prescription reviews, and discharge optimisation.
  • Process and manage prescription planning for discharge pathways.
  • Participate in pharmacy on-call, late-night, and weekend rotas as required.
  • Mentor and support foundation-level and trainee pharmacists in training.
  • Collaborate with Advanced Clinical Pharmacists on service development and clinical reviews.

Essential Requirements

  • Masters qualification in Pharmacy.
  • Registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Completed (or working towards) a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent advanced practice with supporting training.
  • Proven clinical experience across multiple specialties, demonstrating advanced proficiency.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
