Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

  • Utilising clinical expertise to deliver high-quality pharmacy services across wards and departments
  • Supporting the training and development of colleagues
  • Improving service standards in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)
  • Contributing to clinical best practice, including Independent Prescribing roles
  • Working closely with Clinical Management Groups (CMGs) in specialties such as:
    • ESM (Emergency SrVice Medicine)
    • ITAPS (Intensive Care & Paediatrics)
    • W&C (Wards & Community)
    • Haematology & Oncology
    • MSSUGGS (Medical Specialties including Gastroenterology & Surgery)

You will also be required to participate in:

  • Evening shifts
  • On-call rotational duties
  • Bank holiday coverage
  • Weekend rotas (where applicable)
