Opportunity to Join the RESPS Team
An opportunity has arisen to join the RESPS team on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment for maternity leave cover.
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated specialist respiratory practitioner with a wide range of skills to provide an expert service for the care and management of patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
About the RESPS Team
The RESPS team provides Pulmonary Rehabilitation, specialist physiotherapy, specialist nursing, oxygen and support with home NIV/neuromuscular diseases with respiratory complications across EHS and H&R CCG. We are a team of physiotherapists, nurses, and respiratory support workers that provide holistic care to respiratory patients within the community setting.
Requirements
- Proven recent experience of working with patients with respiratory conditions.
- Experience of the community setting would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to assess and interpret clinical conditions.
- Awareness of current professional and research practice issues.
- Willingness to participate in national and local audits.
- Good understanding of Oxygen prescription and use is desirable.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
- Commitment, enthusiasm, and drive to develop clinical, managerial, and team working skills within the service.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate effective teamwork.
