Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic physiotherapy team in North Tyneside, specialising in falls prevention and vestibular rehabilitation.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with balance disorders, dizziness, and complex falls risk. You will be based in the Jubilee Day Hospital and work across community and outpatient settings, supporting patients to maintain independence and reduce the risk of injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist caseload of patients with falls risk, dizziness, and vestibular disorders.
- Deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment for vestibular dysfunction, including BPPV and dizziness.
- Lead and contribute to multifactorial falls assessments and interventions.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, and medical colleagues.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff and students.
- Develop and deliver group programmes for falls prevention and balance rehabilitation.
- Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
