Location: London, UK (preferred). Hybrid working, with around two office days per week
About the Role
Do you love the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps major events running seamlessly? Are you highly organised, adept at handling pressure, and thrive when liaising with speakers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams?
CFA Institute is looking for a Specialist, Speaker Management to support their Global Event Solutions team. You’ll be instrumental in administering speaker logistics, contracts, and engagements across a global event portfolio. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role perfect for someone who Pays close attention to detail, excels under pressure, and enjoys managing multiple complexities to ensure smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage speaker logistics across multi-event portfolios, including scheduling, contracting, permissions, and logistics
- Coordinate with speakers
- Work with external speakers, including high-profile contributors, in a professional and responsive manner
- Gather and verify speaker information, permissions, and logistics details
- Collaborate internally
- Partner with events, sponsorship, operations, finance, procurement, multimedia, marketing, and programme/content teams
- Support cross-functional stakeholders in keeping speaker-related workflows on track
- Maintain operational excellence
- Keep accurate records, reports, and updates in event/speaker-management systems
- Track risks, blockers, or missing information and escalate issues early
- Ensure seamless workflows for major CFA Institute events and stakeholder activities

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in events with a focus on speaker management, speaker coordination, or contributor administration
- Familiarity with speaker logistics (contracts, permits, scheduling, or event-administration workflows)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balancing deadlines for **multiple events/projects
- Strong organisational skills, with a commitment to accuracy, follow-through, and detail orientation
- Confident communication skills to engage with external speakers, vendors, and senior stakeholders
- Sound judgement for independent problem-solving while knowing when to escalate
- Bonus: Experience with event, contract, or internal coordination systems (finance/professional-services experience is advantageous but not mandatory)

Cuusto Competitive Remuneration
- UK (London): £40k–£45k per year (final salary dependent on qualifications, experience, and other factors)
