About the Role

Are you looking to develop your career as a children's Speech and Language Therapist, perhaps looking to develop your experience working across preschool and mainstream school settings?

Are you looking to work as part of a supportive team in a flexible working environment?

You will be joining the Children’s Integrated Therapy (CIT) team at an exciting juncture as we implement a new service structure and therapy model. This vacancy is in Oxford City and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and highly motivated therapist to join our team.

The role is advertised as a varied full-time position, however, we welcome applications for part-time positions. The sessions are largely in preschool settings and mainstream schools, although there may be opportunities to work partly in resource bases for children with autism. Please indicate on your application form whether you are interested in a full-time or part-time position.

Please be advised this is a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you would support band 5 and band 4 colleagues. You would support children on our core clinical pathways (Speech Sound Disorders, Language Difficulties, Social Communication) with the opportunity to do some work with our fluency specialist on the Stammering pathway.

The SLT team is made up of Band 5 and 6 Therapists, Technical Assistants, Apprentices, and both Specialist Team Leads and Specialist Clinical Leads (Band 7). We provide Speech and Language Therapy for children and young people aged 0 - 19 years across Oxfordshire in a range of settings. The Service delivery model is based on six Clinical Pathways and underpinned by the current evidence base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
