Job Description: Band 6 Speech and Language Therapists

We currently have full-time permanent posts available for Band 6 speech and language therapists, in our Schools and Early Years & Community teams.

Schools

In Schools, we have a wide variety of settings available across primary, secondary, special school and further education. Work will be focused on working collaboratively with education staff, supporting the development of functional communication, successful transition within and between settings, promoting the importance of self-esteem, independence skills, choice and decision. We work in settings in Lambeth, Southwark, and in the surrounding area that commission our school service. This will likely include Expert at Hand sessions.

Early Years & Community

The Early Years & Community team is focused on input to community clinics, children's centres, and nurseries. You will work as part of a cluster of therapists across a geographical area delivering universal, targeted and specialist work.

As a specialist therapist, you will be expected to be involved in service development work with support from senior therapists and departmental Clinical Leads.

We provide separate line management and clinical supervision to ensure strong clinical performance and development opportunities. Experienced specialist therapists may be involved in clinical supervision to junior colleagues (with support from Leadership) and offer second opinions to colleagues as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
