** Specialist Technical Support Level 3 (Applications) – West Mercia Police**

About the Role
The main purpose of this position is to serve as a member of the Specialist Technical Support Team, providing local supervision of work colleagues as required, and contributing to an efficient and effective Customer Service. Your role will ensure a high-quality, end-to-end ICT Service for West Mercia Police.
You will:
- Provide a high level of technical support across West Mercia Police, including both internal and external customers.
- Help deliver the best possible ICT service, covering specialist applications, equipment, and related support.

Working Arrangement
This is a hybrid role (a mix of home and office working).
Selection Process
This is a CV-only process. You will be invited for a two-stage interview:
- First stage (virtual via Microsoft Teams) – Focuses on your employment history and CV to assess suitability.
- Second stage (face-to-face) – Provides further discussion about the role and your fit.
Success at each stage is necessary to progress.

- Base salary + 5% market supplement (reviewed annually on 1st April, next review 1st April 2027).

- Must have been a permanent UK resident for the last 5 years (to meet vetting standards at application).
- A photo ID (passport/driving licence) will be required for interview. If you lack one, follow this link for guidance.
