Specialist Treatment Manager – Psychology Services Group Location: HM Prison Stocken, Oakham, LE15 7RD
About the Role Psychology Services Group is expanding to establish a specialist treatment management service in prisons, focused on reducing reoffending and safeguarding the public.
The Specialist Treatment Manager will oversee the quality, facilitation, and delivery of accredited programmes (e.g., Building Choices) and related interventions targeting offending behaviour—including high and moderate-intensity formats, group/individual sessions, and support for learners in custody.
You’ll be managed under the Psychology Services Group, supported in professional development, and required to occasionally travel across Midlands prisons to deliver programmes (within MOJ travel policies).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality oversight and delivery of accredited behaviour-change programmes and rehabilitative interventions.
- Work with learning-disabled offenders and those with challenging behaviours.
- Ensure compliance with MOJ accreditation standards for interventions.
- Collaborate cross-regionally on programme delivery and standards maintenance.
- Offer expertise in rehabilitation strategies to reduce reoffending.
Requirements & Criteria
Qualifications
- Eligible for смыдлат by the Ministry of Justice.
Experience
- Trained as a qualified practitioner for accredited intervention programmes (e.g., Building Choices).
- Delivered the entire curriculum of programmes at least twice, demonstrating excellence.
- Experience in psychological assessment and treatment of offenders, preferably with learning difficulties or complex needs.

Technical Skills
- Demonstrated ability to uphold programme standards with evidence-based practices.
- Familiarity with MOJ framework for intervention delivery.
