Barista, WatchHouse

In short: Baristas are the beating heart of WatchHouse. As a Barista, you’ll be at the forefront of the Modern Coffee movement—crafting exceptional coffee, creating unforgettable moments, and bringing our passion for hospitality to life every day. You’ll serve as a true ambassador of the WatchHouse experience, delivering world-class coffee with precision and care, while connecting with guests in a way that feels warm, personal, and genuine.

Directly reports into: House Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Barista in WatchHouse:

  • Deliver warm and authentic hospitality to each guest, turning first-time visitors into regulars and regulars into loyal advocates of WatchHouse.
  • Dial in espresso and filter coffee with precision, crafting recipes that reflect the flavors of our beans.
  • Ensure the coffee section is always looking its best—clean, sharp, and organised.
  • Maintain brand standards even during high-volume moments, adapting recipes and techniques to ensure every beverage meets our high expectations.
  • Be flexible and proactive, stepping in wherever needed to support the seamless operation of the House, from food preparation to team coordination.

Key to this Role:

  • Be a passionate, confident, and skilled barista, eager to share the art of Modern Coffee with our guests and team.
  • Always well-presented and wearing the following WatchHouse uniform standards.
  • Demonstrate a background in specialty coffee, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Work alongside an outstanding team of baristas, bringing energy, positivity, and a drive to succeed together.
  • Maintain focus under pressure, ensuring every customer feels seen and valued.
