West Sussex | Full Time | Permanent

Great medicine starts with seeing the whole person.

At Change Grow Live, we believe the best clinical care goes beyond treating symptoms. It's about understanding the individual, building trust and creating opportunities for lasting change.

Every day, our clinical teams help people overcome the challenges of drug and alcohol dependence, improve their physical and mental health, and take positive steps towards recovery. By combining evidence-based medicine with compassionate, person-centred care, we're transforming lives across the communities we serve.

We're looking for a Specialty Doctor to join our West Sussex Drug & Alcohol Wellbeing Network, bringing clinical expertise, curiosity and compassion to a multidisciplinary team that's committed to delivering outstanding care.

Why Join West Sussex?

Our West Sussex service is ambitious, innovative and collaborative.

  • Working across our network of hubs in Worthing, Chichester, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis and Crawley, you'll become part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialty Doctors, Non-Medical Prescriber's, Nurses, Recovery Coordinators, Psychologists and partner organisations.
  • Together, we're developing services that reduce health inequalities, improve access to treatment and deliver better outcomes for the people and communities we support.
  • Your contractual base will be agreed on appointment, with flexibility to work across our West Sussex hubs as required.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to use your medical expertise where it has the greatest impact.

  • You'll provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment for people experiencing drug and alcohol dependence, developing personalised treatment plans that recognise the complexity of addiction and its impact on physical and mental health.
  • Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll lead on specialist prescribing, undertake comprehensive medical reviews and contribute to high-quality clinical decision-making that supports safer prescribing and improved recovery outcomes.
  • You'll play a key role in clinical governance, supporting service development, mentoring colleagues and helping to embed best practice across the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Whether you're supporting an individual through their first engagement with treatment or providing ongoing clinical leadership to colleagues, your work will directly influence the quality and safety of care we provide.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
