Specialty Doctor in General Surgery
Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in General Surgery on a 12-month fixed-term contract based at Darent Valley Hospital. The position is available to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
You will need to have:
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- Completed foundation training or have equivalent experience
- Computer literacy
- A good standard of written and spoken English

Duties
The Post holder undertakes, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, e.g., cover “on call” duties.
The clinical commitments required of the appointee will be as detailed in the Weekly Programme of Duties though service needs may require alteration of the timetable without notice. The appointee will be required to visit any patient in any establishment forming part of the Trust at the request of the Consultant. The appointee will be required to be on a full shift rota and will be required to take part in Internal Cover arrangements during the absence of the Registrars and middle grades on annual or study leave.
