The successful candidate will primarily be clinic based. The successful candidate will be expected to do outpatient clinics covering multi-specialty services including urgent care. The appointee will be expected to undertake duties at Bexhill Hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital. Both sites are well equipped to provide a modern high quality ophthalmic service.
This post is for a Specialty Doctor to the Department of Ophthalmology in East Sussex Healthcare Trust. The post-holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the specialty, chiefly supporting the outpatient ophthalmic service.

The successful candidate will be clinic based. The successful candidate will be expected to do outpatient clinics covering multi-specialty services including urgent care. Candidates will be encouraged to develop surgical skills in theatre in the future.
