Specification Account Manager

For Repair Care UK, we are looking for a Specification Account Manager area London South. In this role, you are responsible for developing and influencing specification opportunities within the construction, refurbishment and heritage sectors. You build relationships with architects, surveyors, large and national contractors, housing providers and heritage organisations, with the goal of turning early project involvement into contractor engagement and product usage.

How you make the difference As Specification Account Manager, you play a key role in positioning Repair Care’s solutions at the front end of the market. You influence projects from design stage through to completion and ensure the right stakeholders are connected throughout the process. By combining market knowledge, relationship building and commercial follow-up, you help expand Repair Care’s presence and convert specification opportunities into business.

What your agenda looks like Build relationships with architects, surveyors, heritage organisations and other specifiers Influence refurbishment and construction projects from design stage through to completion Track projects and support conversion from specification to contractor engagement and product use Work with contractors, housing providers, local authorities, developers, merchants and distributors Deliver CPD presentations, technical presentations and toolbox talks Promote training programmes and support the growth of trained contractor networks Maintain project tracking, customer information and reporting in Salesforce Represent Repair Care in the market through industry events, professional networking and digital visibility

Your team You work closely with Technical Account Managers, distributor partners and internal colleagues across the commercial organisation. Together, you support regional growth, contractor engagement and successful project conversion. You report to the Senior Specification Account Manager / UK & Export General Manager.

What makes you a great fit Experience in specification development, construction sales or contractor engagement Experience building relationships with architects, surveyors, contractors or similar stakeholders Understanding of construction processes and specification development Familiarity with tools such as NBS is an advantage Knowledge of timber repair or restoration solutions is beneficial Strong relationship-building and networking skills Commercial awareness and ability to track projects effectively Strong communication and presentation skills Well organised and disciplined in activity management and CRM usage
