Specification Area Sales Manager - Mechanical Ventilation

Prescription Sales Representative – DUCO (London)

Developing relationships with M&E consultants, house builders, developers and architects to prescribe the DUCO ventilation products in London.


About the Role

At DUCO, we are dedicated to enhancing the comfort and well-being of homeowners by improving indoor air quality. Our innovative range of residential mechanical ventilation solutions, including MEV and MVHR systems, is adapted to the unique demands of the UK market. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prescription Sales Representative to join the DUCO team and drive growth in this dynamic region.


Position Overview

Are you a sales professional with a deep understanding of the residential mechanical ventilation market? Do you have a proven track record of success in this sector and a relentless "hunter" mentality for generating new business? If so, we want you to be part of our team.

As our Prescription Sales Representative based in London, you will:

  • Build lasting relationships with M&E consultants, architects, and developers
  • Prescribe DUCO ventilation products projects in London
  • Support projects from prescription to completion

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by connecting and supporting:

    • M&E Consultants, architects, and developers
    • Proactively chase new projects
  • Goal Achievement: Join a high-target DUCO team committed to ambitious objectives; your dedication will drive continued success.

  • Technical Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of ventilation and national regulations to:

    • Provide expert guidance to M&E consultants and architects
    • Serve as the go-to resource for:
      • Technical information
      • Product presentations
      • Organising CPDs (Continued Professional Development)
  • Market Adaptation: Represent our innovative, qualified UK-adapted products and:

    • Use a pre-prepared sales portfolio
    • Collaborate with product management to:
      • Identify new product development opportunities
      • Align with UK market demands

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in prescribing residential mechanical ventilation
  • Strong relational expertise with M&E consultants, architects, and developers
  • Minimum of 8 years successful experience in the residential ventilation market
  • Self-driven, highly results-oriented, with a proactive "hunting" mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Full UK driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel within Greater London
