Specifications Manager in the North West
I'm working exclusively on behalf of a well-established UK food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Specifications Manager.
If you're currently writing retailer specifications but are looking for a role where you'll have more ownership, leadership responsibility and influence across the business, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and supporting a Specifications & Artwork team
- Managing retailer specification systems and artwork approvals
- Working closely with NPD, Technical, Commercial and major retail customers
- Providing expert guidance on food legislation and labelling
- Driving projects through critical paths and ensuring products launch on time

I'm keen to speak with people who have:
- Experience writing retailer specifications within UK food manufacturing
- Knowledge of food legislation and labelling requirements
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience (desirable but not essential)
