Specification Manager

Join us as an Architectural Specification Manager covering Scotland! We are seeking an experienced and technically minded Architectural Specification Manager to join our team covering Scotland This role is focused on providing design and technical support to Architects and Main Contractors, managing project specifications through all design stages and driving project conversion through strong relationships and technical excellence. What you'll do: Provide detailed technical and specification support to architects, designers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Advise on appropriate product and system solutions aligned with project design intent, performance, and compliance requirements. Produce and manage project-specific technical specifications Maintain accurate records of project activity using CRM systems. Manage and develop a pipeline of architectural and contractor-led projects across the Scotland region. Monitor project progress through all design and construction phases to ensure specification retention and conversion. Deliver CPD presentations and design workshops to architectural and contractor clients. Work closely with commercial, sales, and technical colleagues to ensure effective project handover and conversion from specification to order. Strong technical understanding of architectural systems, building products, and construction detailing. Proven track record of managing architectural specifications and supporting design teams through early design to delivery stages. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work, Building Regulations, and relevant industry standards desired. Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects across a defined region. What you'll bring: You will have demonstratable experience of being able to create bespoke ‘engineered’ solutions for specific customer construction projects You will have an update to date understanding of building regulations and standards You will have the ability to interpret architectural drawing and plans You will be proficient in the use of construction design software and Microsoft packages Why join us?
