Why Join Eaton?

At Eaton, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment through intelligent power management technologies. This role offers the opportunity to influence projects across commercial buildings, industrial facilities, critical infrastructure, and the energy transition market, whilst developing a rewarding technical and commercial career within a global leader in power management. You will be supported by leaders who care about your success, development, and wellbeing, and be part of a company that is passionate about recognizing contribution, celebrating achievement, and promoting talent from within.

The Role

The Specification Sales Engineer – Power Distribution is responsible for driving specified demand for Eaton's low voltage and medium voltage power distribution portfolio by influencing design decisions during the earliest stages of construction, infrastructure, industrial, and refurbishment projects.

The role focuses on engaging with consulting engineers and end users to ensure Eaton solutions are specified into projects before tender. The Specification Sales Engineer will identify, develop, and protect project opportunities while positioning Eaton as the preferred technical partner for power distribution and energy resilience solutions.

The successful candidate will develop project pipelines, influence specifications, provide technical guidance, and support project conversion from concept design through to project execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
