Specification Manager Opportunity – Instanta Brand, North Region
About the Role
Zip Water, a global leader in advanced drinking water solutions—including filtered, boiling, chilled, and sparkling water—seeks a Specification Manager dedicated to the Instanta brand in the North region.
Your core focus will be driving specification and sales of Instanta products by engaging with key specifiers (e.g., catering equipment suppliers), collaborating with the sales team, and delivering exceptional technical support, project tracking, and customer service.
This role thrives on relationships and results, requiring a Sales & Specification Specialist adept at identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and negotiating partnerships. Experience within food service, catering equipment, or hospitality is essential, alongside a robust professional network in the North.
Candidates with knowledge of building regulations, industry standards, or commercial trends will add valuable insight to Zip Water’s mission to deliver innovative, sustainable water solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product specification and sales of Instanta’s drinking water solutions in the North region
- Identify and engage with key specifiers (e.g., architects, equipment distributors) to create renewable business opportunities
- Proactively identify project opportunities in foodservice/Hospitality, tracking progress and providing expert technical/product support
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, ensuring seamless product selection and installation
- Monitor sales pipelines, collaboratively addressing stakeholder needs through active customer service
- Build and maintain strong relationships within North region catering equipment networks

Requirements
Core Skills & Experience
- Proven background in specification sales, preferably in food service, catering equipment, or hospitality
- A well-developed network of professional contacts and specifiers in the North region
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for client and stakeholder meetings
Desirables
- Technical or regulatory knowledge of food service hydrant installations, plumbing standards, or building regulations
- Understanding of industry trends driving water consumption in hospitality
Professional Attributes
- Self-motivated, results-driven with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong navigational skills for North region (regional travel required based on sales growth needs)
- Collaboration-ready with demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
