As a Specification Technologist
You will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and compliant management of raw material and finished product specifications. This includes supporting the delivery of safe, legal, and high-quality products to our customers. You will liaise closely with internal departments (NPD, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory) and external suppliers to manage technical documentation, ingredient declarations, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and review finished product specifications for food ingredients and seasoning blends
- Liaise with suppliers to gather and validate raw material specifications, certificates, and technical data
- Ensure all specifications meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards (e.g. allergens, nutrition, labelling, GFSI)
- Complete and submit customer specification forms and portals, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support the launch of new products through accurate specification input and compliance checks
- Maintain specification management systems and ensure timely updates of documentation
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, NPD, and Procurement to address non-conformances or specification gaps
- Assist with compliance to food safety certifications (e.g. BRCGS, SQMS, Halal, Kosher)
- Support continuous improvement of the specifications process and data quality
