Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Spectrum Engineering Manager/Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in developing our Spectrum assets. In this position, you’ll work closely with the Regulatory & Market Access teams and technical department, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and prepare technical and regulatory contributions for ITU study groups, regional organisations, and World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRC)
  • Act as an internal Eutelsat coordinator for WRC agenda items that are of interest to Eutelsat
  • Manage the preparation, coordination and lifecycle of GSO and NGSO ITU filings
  • Represent and defend Eutelsat's spectrum positions in international and national forums
  • Analyse the regulatory environment and develop strategic responses to protect and secure spectrum resources
  • Build and maintain relationships with national administrations, regulators, and stakeholders
  • Support internal teams with regulatory analysis, spectrum studies, and market access coordination
  • Travel periodically to meetings and conferences as required

  • Master's degree in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Fluent in English is mandatory and French would be appreciated
  • 5 + years of experience in satellite communications and/or spectrum management
  • A good understanding of the satellite regulatory environment and the ITU procedures
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Nice To Have

  • Experience with one or more coding languages such as Python, MATLAB, C, etc.
  • Understanding how a GSO & NGSO satellite system works
