Bank Shifts

Salary: Up to £45.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Circle Rehabilitation is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their team of staff in the Rehabilitation department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

  • Conduct detailed assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing functions using a variety of clinical tools and techniques.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals, including communication therapy, voice therapy, and dysphagia management.
  • Collaborate with medical teams, nursing staff, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
  • Educate patients, families, and carers about therapy strategies, communication aids, and safe swallowing practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with HCPC, RCSLT, and organisational policies.
  • Recommend and support the use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) tools and resources.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

  • BSc (Hons) or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with communication and/or swallowing disorders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
