St Mary’s School is looking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist with demonstrable interest in, or experience of, working with complex speech, language and communication needs. St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils / students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing, planning and delivering individualised intervention programmes for a defined caseload. You will work with children individually or in small groups within classroom-based sessions and specialist therapy spaces to enable pupils to access the curriculum and promote meaningful engagement in school-based tasks. Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) registration is essential. Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable. NQP therapists are welcome to apply. Salary dependant on skills and experience. St Mary’s is committed to equal opportunities and safeguarding, as well as promoting the welfare of the pupils. ABOUT US Additional Information Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
