We are recruiting a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join an Outstanding specialist college in Kingston. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a therapist who is passionate about supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex communication needs.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you'll support young people aged 16+ as they prepare for adulthood, helping them develop the communication, independence and life skills needed for education, employment and everyday life.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred Speech and Language Therapy interventions.
- Assess communication and eating and drinking needs.
- Support learners using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
- Independently manage your own clinical caseload.
- Train and coach teaching and support staff.
- Work alongside families and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for every learner.
- Promote communication, independence and inclusion across the college.

We're Looking
- A degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
- Current HCPC registration.
- Eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
- Knowledge of AAC and eating and drinking assessment.
- A collaborative, proactive and person-centred approach to therapy.
