Dynamic SLT/ Rehabilitationist Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic SLT/ rehabilitationist to join the Manchester Auditory Implant Programme at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The Implant Programme is unique in providing hearing implant services for adults and children under one management structure within one hospital Trust.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team supporting individuals to maximise their communication outcomes, independence, and quality of life through tailored rehabilitation. You'll deliver evidence-based, person-centred therapy programmes, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Experience in working with young children and adults with hearing loss and/or complex communication needs, providing assessment and habilitation.
- Cochlear implant experience is not essential but preferred and full training will be provided.
- Opportunity to participate in ongoing research projects.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications in audiology, psychology, or sign language are desirable.
- A full driving license is essential.
