Qualifications For Success

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Experience in language/cognitive-communication assessments and therapy.
  • Strong client-centered approach and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

What Is a Typical Day for an FA Speech-Language Pathologist?

  • Conduct individual assessments and provide evidence-based treatment for cognitive communication/language disorders.
  • Assist clients in setting and achieving meaningful goals in home and community settings.
  • Collaborate with community partners and rehab professionals to support client goals and independence.
