Speech & Language Therapist
Speech and Language Therapist – Roehampton Gate School & Putney Vale Campus

We’re looking for passionate Speech and Language Therapists to join our therapy team and become a core part of supporting students with autistic spectrum disorders.
### About the Role
As a Speech and Language Therapist at Roehampton Gate School, you will:
- Join a multi-disciplinary team working closely with SLP colleagues, educators, and support staff to deliver speech, language, and communication interventions.
- Collaborate across Putney Vale Campus to provide support in a specialist environ ment for pupils aged 11–25 with ASDs.
- Contribute to the development of young adults, fostering independent communication, social skills, and academic proficiency.
- Draft and deliver interventions aligned with publish ing Partnership evidence-based models.
- Support the Therapy Manager in service delivery, team objectives, and schoolwide initiatives.
You'll thrive in a setting centred around individualised, person-led care. Your creativity, adaptability, and ability to simplify complex theory will empower students every day.
Essential Requirements
- Registered qualification: A BSc Speech and Language Therapy (or overseas equivalent), ensuring professional recognition.
- Service delivery: Proven ability to deliver tasks to assess, plan, and support pupils’ communication needs either in a school, therapy centre, or healthcare setting.
- Nurturing mindsets: An empathy for students with neurodiverging learning styles and evidence of school/college composition frameworks.
- Collaboration: Committed to teamwork and a culture that shares expertise and drives consistent progress.
- Safeguarding: Willingness to undergo PVG/DBS checks, references (TWO covering the last **3 years`), and securely handle confidential information.
