About the Role
Libra Drinks is the East Midlands’ leading independent on-trade distributor. We are looking creative and customer-facing SPIRIT & MINERALS Category Manager.
You will blend analytical insights with commercial creativity, building joint business plans with major brands and equipping our sales team to winning market share in a competitive on-trade environment.
Your Impact
Strategy
- Own the end-to-end spirits and minerals portfolio, launching new trends and optimizing SKUs.
Negotiation
- Drive JBPs, secure supplier funding, and manage multi-million-pound category P&Ls.

Marketing
- Design high-impact promotional calendars and brochures with our digital marketing team.
Sales Support
- Deliver brand masterclasses, curate customer facing cocktail menus, and develop a toolkit to elevate our sales team capabilities to sell in these categories effectively.
Frontline Training
- Create and deliver spirits and cocktail training for our customer account base.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years in spirits category management or buying within the UK on-trade drinks sector.
- Network: Established relationships with spirits brand owners and mixer manufacturers.
- Drive & Professionality: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage fast-moving promotional cycles.

What you'll get in return
- Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum dependent on experience
