SPLD Tutor
SPLD Study Skills Tutor (Hybrid) – Bath Spa University
Location: Bath Spa University (Hybrid) Pay: GBP28 + 3.38 accrued holiday pay per hour Start Date: September 2026 (Academic Year 2026/2027)

Role & Responsibilities
As a Study Skills Tutor, you will empower students with SPLDs by designing tailored learning strategies and fostering academic success.
Key Tasks:
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Guide students in effective study strategies and techniques.
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust learning plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with Randstad to ensure a cohesive, supportive approach for students.
- Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
- Create engaging and personalised learning materials.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience working with students with SPLDs.
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using online teaching tools and platforms.
- Ability to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
- Experience in creating tailored learning resources.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and student success.
- Effective organisational and time-management skills.
- Deep passion for helping students achieve academic goals.

- Full Member: Specialist teacher/assessor qualification
- Associate Member: Specialist teacher qualification
