Murray McIntosh is delighted to be supporting Scottish Renewables in the recruitment of a Sponsorship Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial team at the heart of Scotland's renewable energy sector. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorship, you'll play a key role in supporting sponsorship partnerships, maintaining sponsor relationships and helping to generate commercial income that supports the organisation's wider objectives.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the most influential organisations, events and stakeholders shaping Scotland's renewable energy industry.

The Role

Working closely with sponsors, commercial partners and internal teams, you'll support the delivery and growth of Scottish Renewables' sponsorship programme. Responsibilities will include managing sponsorship administration, maintaining CRM records, coordinating sponsor benefits, supporting sponsorship sales activity and helping to identify new commercial opportunities.

You'll act as a key point of contact for sponsors, ensuring they receive excellent service and value from their partnership. The role also involves preparing proposals and reports, supporting sponsor renewals and working closely with the Events Team to integrate sponsorship activity across conferences, exhibitions, networking events and awards programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
