Lifeguard – Parkdean Resorts
We’re looking for attentive, safety-driven Lifeguards to help create a secure, enjoyable, and memorable leisure experience for our guests. If you’re passionate about safety, guest service, and being part of a lively team, this role is perfect for you.
As a Lifeguard, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all guests in our swimming pools and surrounding areas. You’ll maintain vigent supervision, respond quickly and professionally to incidents, and contribute to keeping our leisure facilities clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively supervise swimming pools and ancillary areas to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Respond promptly and professionally to any incidents, following emergency action plans.
- Provide first aid and emergency response as required, in line with training.
- Carry out water quality and chemical testing, record results, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety across pool and leisure areas.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service and act as a positive ambassador for the park.
- Undertake ongoing training in health & safety, lifesaving skills, customer care, and pool plant operations.

Requirements & Qualifications
- A valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification – or enthusiasm to gain it through training (strong swimmer required).
- Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor, Pool Plant Operations, or First Aid at Work qualifications (desirable).
- A customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to guest safety and experience.
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for guest welfare.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
- A positive, calm, and proactive attitude.
