FizzBug is a dynamic childcare company operating across multiple locations in Hertfordshire, specialising in creating unique, inspiring experiences for children aged 0–13 years.
Our holiday clubs deliver fun, fully inclusive activities designed to engage, educate, and bring out the best in every child, from team-building games to creative challenges that spark curiosity and confidence.
FizzBug’s services span a wide range of childcare provision, including crèche facilities, Breakfast and After School Clubs, Holiday Camps, and seasonal events, ensuring families have trusted, enriching care throughout the year.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team at our Beechwood Park location. FizzBug Camps at Beechwood Park run every half term and school holiday, providing children aged 3–13 with an exciting programme of sport, play, and adventure.

As Sports Coach, you will:
- Act as a Team Leader, supporting the safe and positive running of each session
- Plan and lead engaging sports activities tailored to different ages and abilities
- Deliver a varied programme including football, cricket, tennis, rounders, basketball, netball etc
- Create a fun, inclusive environment where every child feels welcomed and valued
- Support children’s confidence, teamwork, and personal development through sport
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Previous experience working with children
- Confident coaching ability across a range of sports
- Genuine enthusiasm and energy for working with young people
- A passion for sport and a commitment to making it accessible for all

Desirable (don’t worry if you don’t have these - we’ll support you!):
- A valid DBS certificate (we can arrange one through our FizzBug system if needed)
- First Aid certification (we run in-house training sessions)
- Safeguarding training (we provide this through FizzBug)
