Sports Coach Tutor
Location: National (Remote) Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility required)
About the Role
Educationwise is looking for an experienced and passionate Sports Coach Tutor to join our growing team. You'll deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across sports coaching qualifications and apprenticeships, helping learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to succeed in their careers.
This is a remote role with occasional travel for learner visits, standardisation meetings and company events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment across sports coaching programmes.
- Support learners throughout their apprenticeship or qualification journey.
- Carry out progress reviews, set SMART targets and provide constructive feedback.
- Assess practical competence in line with awarding organisation and EPA requirements.
- Promote learner engagement, achievement and progression.
- Work closely with employers and internal teams to ensure an excellent learner experience.
- Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with awarding body and funding requirements.
- Keep your industry knowledge and CPD up to date while contributing to curriculum development where required.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 or 4 Teaching qualification (or equivalent).
- Occupational competence within the sports coaching sector.
- Recent experience delivering and assessing adult learners.
- Strong organisational, communication and ICT skills.
- Knowledge of the education and apprenticeship landscape.
- Level 2 English and Maths.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- A genuine passion for developing others.

Desirable
- Level 4 Sports Coach qualification.
- Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA or equivalent).
- Experience delivering Teaching Assistant or Learning & Skills Teacher qualifications.
- Knowledge of Ofsted, CIMSPA, Ofqual and awarding organisation requirements.
