£24,907 + 12.5% Shift Allowance

About the Role
NTU is committed to providing high-quality sporting opportunities for its students and staff, ensuring regular participation in physical activity is the norm. This fuels the wellbeing and academic achievement of our community while aiming to engage 12,500 students annually by 2027.
Our sport operations team is seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to join their dynamic group of over 50 sports staff. You will have access to incredible facilities across two sites, including:
- A Climbing Wall
- Sports Hall
- Squash Courts
- 3G and Grass Pitches
- Fitness Suites
- Additional specialty spaces
As a Sports Operations Assistant, you will act as the primary point of contact for all enquiries related to sports facilities and fitness suites. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional front-of-house service for NTU customers
- Handling telephone inquiries and bookings
- Enrolling new members
- Processing bookings and payments
- Managing a computerised booking system
- Offering administrative support
- Setting up sports equipment
