Sports Operations Coordinator (Futsal)

Department: Programmes
Location: Office
Compensation: £27,000 - £35,000 / year

Description

About the Role

As our Club Futsal Operations Coordinator, you drive excellence in the end-to-end delivery for our Club Futsal programme. This isn’t just a logistics role. It’s a chance to help shape one of London’s most exciting futsal programmes, use data and insight to continuously improve what we do, and play a hands-on part in a charity that’s growing fast and thinking big.

You will be responsible for managing all programme operations, including fixtures, venues, and matchday operations, building strong relationships with coaches, referees, parents and partners, and making sure every person who turns up has an outstanding experience.

Working closely with the Club Futsal Manager and wider team, you will help ensure the programme is positioned to deliver meaningful impact both on and off the pitch for every young person who plays with us.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

At Bloomsbury, belonging isn't just something we create for the young people we serve — it's something we live as an organisation and is embedded into core values. We are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we work in, and we actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities.

We particularly welcome applications from women and people from underrepresented groups, who remain underrepresented in both the sport and charity sectors. We know that the best idea wins regardless of who it comes from, and we are proud to be building an organisation where everyone has a place to play, belong, and progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations for our Club Futsal programme, ensuring the smooth running of sessions and management of resources to deliver the highest quality futsal provision
  • Develop and maintain efficient operational systems and processes (including financial management, communications and resource allocation) that support programme scale and maintain exceptional quality
  • Manage communications with participating players, coaches, referees, and venues, including scheduling, updates, and fixture information
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve the player experience and programme quality
  • Periodically attend sessions and fixtures at weekends (with time off in lieu) to ensure sound understanding of on-pitch programme operations and connect with players and coaches
  • Support the planning and delivery of international tours

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
