We are working with a fast-growing and highly successful iGaming business that is expanding its UK Sports Betting division and is looking to hire a Sports Retention Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing retention team and take ownership of sportsbook retention campaigns across multiple brands and markets. The role offers significant autonomy, exposure to senior leadership, and the chance to make a genuine impact within a rapidly growing organisation.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Retention, you will be responsible for developing, executing and optimising customer retention strategies across sportsbook and casino products. You will own the customer journey from onboarding through to reactivation, using data and customer insights to drive engagement, retention and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage multi-channel CRM campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications and onsite messaging.
  • Develop and execute sportsbook and casino promotional campaigns.
  • Own the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation.
  • Utilise CRM and automation platforms to scale campaign activity and improve performance.
  • Analyse campaign performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Conduct A/B testing and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Work closely with marketing, design, development and compliance teams.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and customer engagement strategies.
  • Leverage AI tools and technology to enhance campaign delivery, content creation and segmentation.
  • Support the development of retention strategies aimed at increasing customer lifetime value and reducing churn.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within iGaming, Sports Betting or Online Gaming retention/CRM.
  • Hands-on experience managing customer lifecycle and retention campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and ideally Power BI.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Smartico or similar.
  • Good understanding of the UK betting and gaming market.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for sport and sports betting.
